Below Deck yacht platform: NautiBuoy platforms during the season

Below Deck yacht platform: NautiBuoy platforms during the season

If you’ve ever watched Below Deck, you’ll know that the yachts, destinations and water toys are almost as much a part of the story as the crew themselves. Look a little closer at what’s happening at water level, and you may have spotted another familiar name: NautiBuoy

Our inflatable yacht platforms have made several appearances on Below Deck, becoming part of the setup as guests head for the water and crew prepare the yacht for another day at anchor.

Seeing NautiBuoy on screen is always exciting, but seeing our platforms used exactly as they were designed to be is even better: creating more usable space on the water, making watersports easier and giving guests another way to enjoy life beyond the yacht.

Making More of Life at Water Level

When the ocean is right outside the door, why not make more of it?

A NautiBuoy platform extends the usable space of the yacht beyond the transom, creating a stable area at water level that can adapt throughout the day. It can be a place to swim from, relax in the sun, prepare for a ride on a SEABOB or eFoil, or simply sit back and watch the action.

That versatility is particularly valuable on charter yachts, where no two days – or guests – are quite the same.

Bring out the water toys and the platform becomes a base for playtime. Slow things down and it can become a floating extension of the yacht’s beach club. When guests head back onboard, the same platform can provide crew with practical working space alongside the yacht.

One platform. Plenty of possibilities.

Designed for Real Life Onboard

Below Deck may show the glamorous side of the superyacht world, but behind every effortless guest experience is a crew making it happen.

NautiBuoy was born from that world.

Designed by yachtsmen, for yachtsmen, our platforms were developed from first-hand experience of life onboard. Space is valuable, setup needs to be straightforward and every piece of equipment needs to earn its place.

That thinking still sits behind every NautiBuoy platform today. They are quick to inflate, easy to handle and compact to stow, while their modular design allows the setup to change depending on what the day calls for.

From preparing the water toys before guests arrive to creating extra space for an afternoon on the water, it’s equipment designed to work with life onboard rather than complicate it.

And that’s exactly why we enjoy seeing NautiBuoy on Below Deck: no special setup or staged moment required. Just our platforms getting on with the job.

More Than an Inflatable Yacht Platform

A platform may be where it starts, but it doesn’t have to be where it ends.

Add water toys and you have a dedicated space for getting guests ready for the action. Add loungers and the same area becomes somewhere to switch off in the sun. Connect multiple NautiBuoy platforms using our Air Toggle system and the space can grow again, creating a larger floating setup alongside the yacht.

When the day is over, everything can be deflated, packed away and stored onboard until it’s needed again.

It’s a simple idea that opens up considerably more freedom at water level – and one that has helped make NautiBuoy a familiar sight on yachts around the world.

Spot NautiBuoy on Your Next Episode

Good yacht equipment doesn’t need to demand attention. It needs to be easy to use, work hard and make life onboard that little bit simpler.

So next time you’re watching Below Deck, keep an eye on what’s happening beyond the transom. Among the water toys, tenders and guests heading out for a swim, you might just spot a NautiBuoy platform doing what it was made to do.

More space. More possibilities. More of the water.

Clay Builder, co-founder of NautiBuoy Marine, ran flotillas for Neilson active holidays for several years back in the day. It was during one of those summers he told an Irish lady a joke about potatoes. “Have you always been such a Naughty Boy?” she replied. And lo and behold, the first seed was sown in creating the company as it is known today.
